Compensation varies by course content and ranges from $1,297 to $3,753 per credit. In some cases involving low enrollment, compensation may be prorated at 10% per student. Part‑time employees may also receive tuition waiver for Aims courses, access to the PERC (Aims gym) for employee + one guest, Aims discount program, free parking across all campuses, participation in PERA, and additional supplemental benefits and retirement options.

• Teach a variety of courses in Astronomy, Geology, or Physics based on expertise.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with full‑time faculty serving as course captains.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Department Chair or Academic Dean.

Day and/or evening classes may be assigned at the Greeley campus or satellite locations in Loveland or Fort Lupton.

• Master’s degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, earth system science, or a closely related field, including at least 12 graduate credits in discipline‑specific coursework, OR
• Master’s degree with 18 graduate‑level credits in meteorology.
• No more than 6 of the required 18 credits may be in graduate‑level science education courses.

• Initial screening is based on the completeness and quality of submitted application materials.
• Finalists will be selected for interviews by the screening committee.
• Temporary assignments (less than 6 months) such as curriculum projects, meetings, or substitute teaching may be offered and may include additional pay.
