Education / Experience- Required
:
High school diploma/GED, CPR certification, CHSAA test and regulation, concussion education, prior coaching experience in this sport. - Preferred
:
Bilingual skills.
Any other combination of related education, experience and training.
Summary / ObjectiveThe coach will work closely with the head coach to support their plan, run their own aspects of practice based on the assigned skill, and supervise students until pickup at practice and/or meets.
Essential FunctionsOrganize and supervise game help; assist with supervision at activities.
Additional QualificationsApplicant must complete concussion training.
Other Duties – Knowledge, Skills, and Mental Ability- Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards.
- Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position.
- Preference for leadership situations addressing the social, emotional, psychological, and academic needs of students.
- Preference for a work environment with flexibility, ability to deal with conflict, high tolerance for stress, quick internalization of information, and long hours.
