Summary/Objective: Responsible for all aspects of the head coach; oversee assistant coaches; make decisions based on the direction of the program.

Essential Functions: Organizing and supervising game help; assists with supervision at activities.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma/GED
• CPR certification
• CHSAA test and regulation
• Concussion Education
• Prior coaching experience in this sport

Preferred:

• Bilingual skills
• Any other combination of related education, experience and training

Other

Qualifications:

Applicant must complete concussion training.

• Oversee head coach duties and supervision of assistant coaches.
• Coordinate game-day operations and events; supervise activities as needed.

• Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards.
• Ability to perform all duties of the position.
• Supportive leadership to meet social, emotional, psychological and academic needs of students.
• Willingness to work extended hours and manage high-stress situations.
