JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/Objective: Responsible for all aspects of the head coach; oversee assistant coaches; make decisions based on the direction of the program.
Essential Functions: Organizing and supervising game help; assists with supervision at activities.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- CPR certification
- CHSAA test and regulation
- Concussion Education
- Prior coaching experience in this sport
Preferred:
- Bilingual skills
- Any other combination of related education, experience and training
Other
Qualifications:
Applicant must complete concussion training.
- Oversee head coach duties and supervision of assistant coaches.
- Coordinate game-day operations and events; supervise activities as needed.
- Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards.
- Ability to perform all duties of the position.
- Supportive leadership to meet social, emotional, psychological and academic needs of students.
- Willingness to work extended hours and manage high-stress situations.
