You’ll primarily work with 2nd and 3rd graders, ensuring each child receives the tailored instruction and guidance necessary to help them thrive.

What You’ll Need:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working in K-8 settings, with emphasis on 2nd and 3rd grade students
• Strong understanding of effective strategies for students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver personalized lesson plans for students with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to support student integration
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed
• Facilitate a supportive, encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Engage with families to keep them informed and involved in their child’s progress
• Maintain organized records, documentation, and compliance with all educational standards
