Overview
As it continues to grow, BBA is looking for a project manager who must be familiar with a consulting engineering environment and help meet the needs of a growing number of clients. You will support the planning and delivery of engineering consulting projects, working closely with senior project leadership and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and strong client satisfaction. This position is well suited for a Project Manager with prior consulting or project delivery experience who is looking to take on increasing responsibility while continuing to develop their technical, commercial, and leadership skills.

- Exercise influential leadership on your multidisciplinary teams to ensure awarded mandates are successful.
- Plan, lead and control project execution in accordance with BBA’s mandate and to the satisfaction of the client, the organization, team members and other stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, create genuine and strong relationships with our clients.
- Proactively manage and resolve technical, financial, time and human resource issues in a timely manner to limit potential deviations.
- Manage project risks and implement means to eliminate or mitigate them.
- Ensure the health and safety policy is applied by qualified personnel who are trained for the work to be carried out for the projects.
- Ensure the quality of professional services rendered, in compliance with practices associated with the quality management system, to preserve BBA’s professional image.
- Integrate available resources into projects to maximize BBA’s skills development (multi-level experienced team), provide coaching, guidance and engage your project team.
- Select the appropriate personnel to ensure technical risk management in cooperation with department managers.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing preliminary project studies (Audits, Conceptual, PFS, FS).
- Experience managing medium to large EPCM projects in the mining or heavy industry sectors.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and project control, procurement and construction management teams.
- In-depth knowledge of the modern project management methodology.
- Efficient time management and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to maintain collaborative relationships with personnel, clients and suppliers.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent spoken and written communication in English.
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Primavera knowledge is an asset).
- Assets:
Experience managing mining sites and processing plants; experience with brownfield site context; professional licensure in Nevada; additional certifications (PMP).
- Annual base salary from $150,000 to $230,000.
