Lab Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Executing lab design engineering to ensure successful development of lab capabilities.
• Managing lab design engineering activities from developing requirements through releasing drawings to procurement and build of lab equipment.
• Managing cost and schedule considerations (as a Control Account Manager).
• Being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and serving as Technical Lead during Design Reviews for the Electrical/Mechanical development of lab/test equipment drawings, to include the use of Siemens Mentor Capital and Siemens NX.

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 8 years of related experience, or 6 years of related experience with a Master's degree in a STEM discipline.
• At least one year of proven leadership experience on a project and/or team.
• At least one year of experience with Mentor Capital, Siemens NX, or another Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tool.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance with completed investigation within the last 6 years with the ability to obtain Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
• At least one year of experience in testing environments or with test execution efforts.
