HNW, Trust and Estates Manager

• Partner with business owners, their families, and advisors from around the US to optimize estate, gift, and income taxes through planning and implementation
• Engage directly with clients to inform and guide decision-making
• Collaborate with internal leaders on client relationship management
• Oversee client projects from engagement planning through implementation and beyond
• Develop and manage engagement plans for implementation
• Coordinate client and tax service line team schedules
• Establish priorities and identify resource requirements
• Assign staffing consultants to projects
• Monitor performance of project tasks
• Identify, track, and manage action items, issues, and risks
• Liaise between client teams and internal service teams to resolve issues promptly
• Prepare and send weekly status reports
• Collaborate with peers to exceed client expectations
• Deliver projects on time and within budget
• Participate in community organizational involvement and business solicitation
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 5 or more years’ experience in tax and accounting working with businesses and High Net Worth families in planning and compliance roles
• Typical education background: bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields demonstrating understanding of tax and planning processes
• CPA or EA certification
• Experience in staff supervision and training
• Mindset and skills to help clients solve problems and get the right things done

Demonstrates expertise in tax planning and compliance for High Net Worth families and businesses, with strong project management skills to oversee client engagements and deliver results on time and within budget.
