Specialized/Collateral Assignment Announcement – Explosive Detection and Tracking K9 Officer The Police Department is currently accepting memos of interest for the Explosive Detection and Tracking K9 Officer position.
Salary Range: $83,427 - $115,158 annually, with Step increases pursuant to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of Police vehicles, firearms, less lethal weapons, Oracle, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
Requirements To Apply
- Minimum two years of law enforcement experience, at least one of which is with the Greeley Police Department, after successful completion of the field training officer program or upon approval from the affected Deputy Chief.
- Officers may apply for posted specialized or collateral assignment vacancies if they are within 60 days of meeting the required service time requirements.
- Meet all criteria listed under required knowledge, skills, and abilities on the assignment's job description.
- Endorsement from the direct supervisor and Chain of Command.
