Job Details:

• Based at BFC with expected float to other PCU/ICU units at NCMC or Loveland campus as needed

• Must be proficient in caring for Cardiac and M/S, PCU and ICU patients

• Mixed acuity unit requiring willingness to take up to 6 medical/surgical level of care patients

• Must verify ability to read and monitor telemetry

• Every other weekend and holiday rotation per unit schedule

• Varied work schedule assignment

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies

• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs

• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team

• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities

• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed

• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records

• Current valid RN license in state of practice required

• BLS certification required

• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience in specialty area within past 12 months

• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area

• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
