Work Schedule and PayFull Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Days. Pay: $19.67 - $25.57 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience.
Job TypeThis position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
Responsibilities- Schedule appointments, follow‑up appointments, and assign appropriate length of visit per physician request.
- Provide instruction to patients regarding what to bring to the appointment, time of appointment, and location of physician.
- Register patients for medical care including laboratory, outpatient services, physician or other medical office. Pre‑register patients when needed.
- Collect and confirm complete patient demographics, current employer, emergency contact information, insurance and case‑specific information such as referring physician.
- Verify insurance eligibility for governmental payors (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare). May complete Medicare Secondary Payor Questionnaire for all Medicare eligible patients.
- Review patient accounts for outstanding balances and forward to Accounting.
- Within scope of job, exercise critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
