Traveler Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Colorado or eligibility through compact licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Traveler Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting
  • Accurately document resident progress and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal resident outcomes
  • Follow all applicable state and federal regulations governing therapy services
  • Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards
  • Promote resident safety, independence, and quality of life through individualized care plans
  • Travel to assigned facilities throughout Southern Colorado as needed
