• Conduct assessments, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues, utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines.
• Develop and update strength‑based treatment plans, continuing care plans, and discharge summaries; make timely referrals.
• Observe clients, assess diagnoses and mental status, and implement treatment plans based on clients’ needs and functioning levels.
• Collaborate with clinicians, law enforcement, external providers, and psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive care.
• Work with clients on safety planning, symptom management, support system identification, and risk mitigation.
• Teach clients behavioral skills, coping strategies, and problem‑solving techniques to improve well‑being and daily functioning.
• Support evidence‑based practices to ensure effective interventions within the program.
• Provide case management and refer clients to additional resources (e.g., vocational, medical, housing, residential treatment).
• Maintain accurate electronic health records, ensuring ethical coding and billing in compliance with agency standards.

This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus.

• Have a Masters Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or another relevant clinical degree from an accredited college or university.
• Have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
• Can successfully complete pre‑employment screening, including background check, fingerprinting, and drug and TB testing.
