Contract Length/Days: 2025‑2026 / 260 Days
Salary: $27.33 per hour plus benefits (range 30). Additional salary credit may be given for internal transfers and recent rehires, up to $43.82 per hour plus benefits.

- High school diploma or GED.
- CompTIA A+ certification, or the ability to achieve this within the first 6 months of employment.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License.
Performs problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for District 6 users. Provides individual instruction to users on new or updated technologies. Installs, maintains, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment including laptops, Chromebooks, desktops, document cameras, I/O devices, projectors, laptop charging carts, and interactive panels. Performs related work and other duties as assigned by the Technology Services Manager.
EssentialFunctions
- Performs work according to the Support Services work order system.
- Solves technical problems quickly and effectively.
- Uses good judgment and common sense to make decisions.
- Works often as part of a team of technicians on assigned projects; works independently to resolve site tickets.
- Responds to help desk inquiries; provides remote assistance to faculty, staff, and students.
- Tracks and inventories equipment and materials.
- Performs data entry and maintenance of records such as project documents, user instructions, and help desk tickets.
- Has knowledge of Google Workspace features and the Google Admin Console.
- Communicates orally with vendors, management, and coworkers using phone, mobile device, Slack, and email.
- Has hearing and vision correctable to normal ranges for normal conversations and document preparation.
- Can physically relocate or maintain equipment, including under tables and at multiple floors; may lift up to 50 lb and perform heavy team lifting.
- Drives various district vehicles daily.
- Understanding and maintenance of power tools necessary for essential job functions.
- Participates in continuing education courses as required by department and organization.
- Possesses good working knowledge of data networking principles and the design of LAN and WAN, including CAT5/CAT6 cabling systems and infrastructure.
- Resolves hardware and software problems independently using common materials and troubleshooting practices.
- Has basic understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
