Principal Product Manager, Platform Solutions

Overview

The Principal Manager, Platform Solutions and Adoption defines and standardizes solutions, creating a simple path to deliver customer results. You will shape the experience of building on the Flex Anywhere platform and simplify adoption of services across colocation, interconnection, cloud & data protection, marketplace & ecosystem, and the customer portal. You will serve as the cross‑functional champion for platform use‑case development—aligning product, sales, solution engineering, and marketing to create use cases that demonstrate the value of building on Flexential’s digital infrastructure and ecosystem.

• Define end-to-end solution frameworks and designs (Platform Centric Designs) combining:
  Colocation (air- and liquid-cooled), Interconnection, Marketplace Destination, and Cloud / Data Protection Services.
• Develop repeatable solution blueprints, reference architectures, and use-case narratives tailored to specific customer segments.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, commercially viable, and operationally feasible.

• Translate solution requirements into clear inputs for:
  Data center design standards, engineering specifications, construction, and capacity planning
• Partner with Product Managers to inform future facility capabilities.
• Influence long-term platform and capital planning decisions.

• Equip Account Executives and Solution Engineers with:
  Value-driven messaging, use-case-based selling tools, and technical solution narratives tied to customer outcomes.
• Support strategic customer engagements where emerging technology expertise is required.
• Collaborate with Marketing on solution positioning.

• Monitor and assess emerging trends in the data center industry
• Engage with customers, hyperscalers, OEMs, and technology partners to understand evolving workload requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on next-generation infrastructure deployments.

• Act as a connective layer across Product, Engineering, Sales, Alliances, and Operations.
• Align with Interconnection and Ecosystem leaders to incorporate ecosystem partners and destinations into solution designs.
• Work with Product Operations to standardize best practices and documentation for solution development.

• 10+ years of experience in data centers, colocation, cloud infrastructure, or related technology fields.
• Proven experience translating technical concepts into customer-facing solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Comfortable engaging with senior customers, partners, and internal executives.
• Understanding of Interconnection, virtual marketplaces, hybrid cloud models, GPU, AI/HPC workloads, data center cooling, and power architectures.

Base Pay Range:
Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $180,000 - $195,000. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications.
