Business Central Functional Consultant

• Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Ensure implementation of solutions meets desired outcomes
• Lead client discovery sessions to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Analyze client requirements and translate them into functional specifications for technical teams
• Design, configure, and validate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
• Develop detailed process maps to outline current and future business processes
• Lead functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution
• Deliver end-user training, facilitate go-live activities, and provide post-implementation support
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals
• Assist in project planning, timeline estimation, and coordination of project activities

• 3+ years of client-facing experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as a Functional Consultant
• Hands-on experience configuring and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across one or more functional areas such as Finance, Manufacturing, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Purchasing, Sales, or Supply Chain
• Experience leading client discovery sessions, gathering business requirements, and translating them into functional solution designs
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions.

Demonstrates expertise in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a strong focus on translating business requirements into functional specifications and delivering effective client solutions. Proficient in leading client discovery sessions, conducting functional testing, and providing comprehensive documentation and training.
