Full Salary Ranges: $15.16 - $21.75 Hourly

Anticipated Hiring Ranges: $15.16 - $18.46 Hourly

The actual offer extended will be based on your years of relevant experience, education, certifications and potentially other factors.

This position will report directly to the coordinator of travel at the Active Adult Center. It will assist with the facilitation of day trips, including driving and escorting trips for the City of Greeley Recreation Division.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in recreation, education, or a related field preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Valid driver’s license for 2 years with a clean driving record.

OR any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job.

AND possession of a valid driver’s license.

• Capability to drive 14 passenger vans safely, following all traffic laws and City of Greeley expectations.
• Clear communication skills.
• Organization skills.
• CPR, AED & First Aid certified.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Basic GPS, computer, and software literacy.
• Customer service experience.

• Category C:
  Regional Travel. This position requires travel within the immediate area and surrounding region, including areas outside of the immediate city limits. Duties may involve day trips or occasional overnight stays for site visits, training, or interagency collaboration.

• Provide safe transportation for groups in passenger vans.
• Escort day trips and participate in activities with the group.
• Ensure all participants travel safely to and from destinations.
• Assist with the coordination of all day trips.
• Assist in program evaluations.
• Enforce policies and procedures.
• Check work email regularly.
• Understand online tickets and ticketing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Regular exposure to various weather driving conditions, including night driving.
• Driving in different traffic situations such as downtown Denver, canyon driving, interstate, etc.
• Workdays may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Variable hour position: employees are expected to work no more than 29 hours on average per week.
• Ability to drive outside of Greeley city limits.
• Ability to sit long periods of time while driving.
• Ability to walk long distances on different terrain and weather conditions such as stadiums, hikes, tours, etc.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
