Dispatcher, Supply Chain​/Logistics

Plains is seeking a Dispatcher I to support safe, reliable movement of crude oil and NGLs across our pipeline and terminal network. Based within our Houston-area control environment, you will monitor real-time product flows, schedule and dispatch pipeline movements, and coordinate with field operators, control room, and commercial teams. Responsibilities include managing work orders, maintaining accurate logs, responding to alarms and emergencies per procedures, and ensuring regulatory and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time crude oil and NGL pipeline and terminal movements
• Schedule and dispatch product flows to meet operational and commercial needs
• Coordinate with field operators, control room staff, and commercial teams
• Manage work orders and update operational schedules and logs
• Respond to alarms, upsets, and emergencies per established procedures
• Ensure adherence to company safety policies and regulatory requirements
• Use SCADA and related systems to track system status and performance
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders on movement status
• Document incidents, variances, and operational events accurately
• Support continuous improvement and best practices in dispatch operations
