Pay Rate: $61,509.82 – $81,934.47 annually (dependent on education & experience). Location & Shift: Cripple Creek Mine, 1632 CO Rd 82, Cripple Creek, CO 80813
Essential Functions- In conjunction with Branch manager, develop and manage department budget
- Implement and adhere to the company safety culture and policy in current and new employees
- Maintain parts department expense accounts and audits, following correct procedures for expense accounts
- Evaluate and plan facilities needs for required equipment, recommend changes to branch manager
- Manage new, exchange and reman parts inventory for accuracy, and provide necessary reports
- Ensure that exchange and core returns parts business meets or exceeds CAT’s standards and dealership goals
- Maintain and execute CPS / 6S methodology in the parts and warehouse areas
- Work closely with manager in policy matters as pertains to the parts operations
- Ensure the best freight accommodations for customers in alignment with company objectives
- Development of personnel to maintain or achieve customer loyalty
- Establish and maintain close relationships with field and office personnel of Caterpillar Inc.
- Establish and maintain close relationships with service department supervisors and parts supervisors in other stores
- Support Parts Counter personnel with incoming calls pertaining to parts department and information concerning customer inquiries regarding parts information
- Manage customer communications, and resolve customer complaints and concerns
- Assist customers coming into the store, by phone, e-mail, or personal field contact, with efforts to sell parts

Warehouse Manager, Parts Coordinator, Shop Parts Counter, Senior Counter, Parts Counter Sales, Lead Parts, Parts Clerk, Driver, Journey Distribution, Technical Communicator – Parts, & CAT Care Coordinator
- Monitor the Parts department’s productivity, performance and facilitate opportunities for increasing productivity and efficiency
- Manage daily operations and staff, ensuring projects are completed and customer needs are met
- Conduct hiring for the parts division and provide proper training for individuals
- Assess, improve, and schedule training for all employees to ensure success of employee safety, skill set, and product knowledge
- Ensure that all personnel are current in their safety training, and that all employees are following defined safety procedures to develop the safest workplace possible
- Assist the Branch Manager with employment actions, including discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policies
- Manage employee schedules, ensuring weekend, holiday, and emergency work schedules are adjusted to meet customer needs
- Provide performance feedback, conduct annual performance reviews, and make recommendations on status and/or salary adjustments
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- College coursework in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years in a warehouse position
