Responsibilities

  • Lead large, strategic, and highly complex programs that span multiple functions, business units, and geographic regions, delivering outcomes that drive significant business impact.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program charters, roadmaps, and execution plans, including scope, milestones, resource forecasts, dependencies, and critical path activities.
  • Establish and lead program governance processes, including status reporting, risk and issue management, decision‑making forums, and change control, while providing clear recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues; manage scope changes and competing priorities in alignment with business objectives and PMO standards.
  • Influence, align, and lead cross‑functional and matrixed teams to achieve program objectives, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high‑performance execution.
  • Manage program budgets and financial performance, supporting business case development, investment planning, and benefit realization tracking for major initiatives.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, ensuring alignment, transparency, and effective decision‑making across all levels of the organization.
  • Champion program management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned, metrics, and process enhancements to improve execution efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the medical device industry, preferably supporting spine, orthopedic, or other regulated healthcare technologies.
  • Proven track record leading large, cross‑functional programs involving product development, operations, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams.
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle processes within a regulated environment, including design controls, risk management, and change management.
  • Experience establishing program governance, executive stakeholder communications, and portfolio reporting for complex initiatives.
  • PMP, Agile, or other project/program management certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, continuous improvement, and business process optimization across multiple functions.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
