Packer​/Handler Night Shift

Position Summary

The packer/handler assures that all containers and lids are manufactured and packaged according to Amcor quality standards in a safe and efficient manner. This position is paid $20.00/hr plus a $1.25 shift premium on a 7pm–7am night shift rotating 12‑hour schedule (2‑2‑3).

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Inspect products to ensure quality; set aside products below standards.
• Work closely with leads, notifying mold techs and supervisors of quality issues or rejects.
• Monitor molds for irregularities or sticking and respond promptly.
• Install gaskets in lids and handles in containers as required, keeping up with production machine cycles.
• Stack and pack products according to customer and order instructions.
• Prepare product identification and packaging labels.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.
• When production interruptions occur, clean up oil, sweep, mop, or make boxes as directed.
• Accurately complete required paperwork.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• Must keep pace with fast‑paced production cycles.
• Agility, consistent attention to detail, and tolerance for repetition.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods and lift, bend, and reach frequently.
• Safe maximum lift up to 50lbs.
• Identify alphanumeric product codes.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Dependable attendance and good communication skills.
• Can work independently and in a group setting.

$20.00/hr plus $1.25 shift premium on night shift (7pm–7am). Rotating 12‑hour schedule (2‑2‑3).
