Shift Structure4-on/4-off schedule, rotating day/night every 2 months, 12‑hour shifts: 07:00‑07:00
CompensationStarting at $50,000 per year ($20/hr base + $2.75/hr shift differential). Built-in guaranteed overtime and "free" hours during non‑overtime weeks.
What You Will Do- Maintain process integrity and quality for all furnace operations.
- Perform engineering instructions for carbonization, densification, and heat‑treating processes.
- Follow environmental, health and safety standards and procedures.
- Identify and eliminate safety hazards and promote continuous safety improvement.
- Implement Behavior Based Safety (BBS).
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools (KAS, 5S, TPM, etc.) and monitor metrics.
- Act on metrics when trends are downward or below acceptable limits.
You Must Have: High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in related discipline. Experience using hand tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and industrial experience preferred.
- Prior manufacturing experience desired.
- Ability to operate equipment: overhead cranes, pneumatic devices, vacuum equipment, fork trucks, hand trucks, optical pyrometers, hand tools.
- Problem‑solving and creative solution development skills.
- Basic math and PC skills.
- Availability to work a 4‑day/12‑hr shift, days and nights.
