Schedule:
Part‑time – 20 hours per week (two 10‑hour shifts on Sunday and Monday from 10pm to 8am). Weekend shift differential of $1.50 per hour, plus an additional $5.00 per hour when applicable.
This position produces all required food items based on production sheets, catering requests and prep sheets. Plans and conducts daily work to meet food production and service time requirements.
Core Functions- One or more years of institutional food production experience or equivalent.
- Ability to learn and follow policies, read and understand written and verbal instruction, communicate effectively, and perform simple math calculations.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and ability to pass required certification tests.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to perform tasks within limited time frames.
- Ability to follow production and cleaning schedules; use chemicals safely; read thermometers and adhere to safety requirements.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Food handlers card required within 30 days of hire for Banner Staffing Services members (not required for BSS members in Tucson and Colorado).
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
$17.32 – $25.98 per hour.
