Leprino Foods is a leading dairy ingredients producer. We seek a dedicated Team Member II Operator to help us meet our production goals.
Responsibilities- Safe operation of equipment and processes, ensuring quality of raw materials and finished products in accordance with SOPs, GMP, and safe work practices.
- Maintain 5S standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with team members, leads, supervisors, and managers.
- Manage time and organization to meet food safety and quality requirements following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan and company policies.
Competitive starting pay of $25.69 per hour. Additional benefits include tuition assistance, vacation, paid holidays, paid sick leave, 401(k) match, merit increases, bonuses, and an annual profit‑sharing plan.
Minimum Qualifications- At least 18 years of age
- Read, write, and speak English
- Perform essential job functions
- Wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all safety practices
- Basic math skills for performing calculations
- Complete documentation both in written and electronic form
- Enter and pull data from computer systems
- Access elevated work areas, including climbing ladders or stairs
- Understand and apply standard operating procedures
- Stand and walk throughout the shift
- Lift moderate weights repeatedly throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean work area
- Perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations
- Problem‑solve equipment or troubleshooting situations without immediate supervision
- Understand basic chemistry or biology and use basic lab equipment and testing through on‑the‑job experience or coursework
- Experience with instrumentation operation and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment, including use of computers and programs
- Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and 12‑hour shifts
- 55 lbs pallet to head lift
- Ladder climbing
- Advanced science knowledge (chemistry, biology) and lab work experience with analytical equipment such as balances, pH meters, incubators, or infrared analyzers; preferred manufacturing experience
- High school or college coursework in chemistry or biology
All candidates will undergo a 90‑day hair follicle drug test via Psyche medics and will participate in E‑Verify. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment as mandated by their role and location.
