Production Team Lead - B Shift

• Direct the workforce.
• Excellent meat cutting skills.
• Good knife sharpening skills.
• Knowledge of various cuts/styles of protein products.
• Ensure package integrity including leaker control, temperature regulation, and weight checks.
• Perform pre‑operational inspections on equipment so production can begin.
• Ensure all pre‑operational paperwork, including HACCP forms, is completed before start‑up.
• Oversee all downtime reports for designated areas and troubleshoot.
• Maintain product counts for each production run.
• Stimulate maximum safety, efficiency, motivation, and productivity.
• Anticipate and determine causes of delays in operations and take appropriate actions to meet production schedules.
• Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production.
• Responsible for meeting volume goals, reducing claims, maximizing yields, reducing cost, and employee retention.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Good interpersonal relations; ability to handle conflict.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead a group and be a part of the group.
• Manage individual employee objectives as well as team performance and building a team approach to problem solving.
• Computer skills.

• Authorized to work in the US.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work full time Monday to Friday, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• Uneven surfaces and slippery floors.
