We are seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing structural steel fabrication team. This role primarily focuses on MIG (GMAW) welding with occasional TIG welding to support production needs. Responsibilities- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel components according to specifications.
- Complete TIG welding on steel components as needed.
- Prepare, position, align, and secure materials for welding.
- Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and welding instructions.
- Maintain welding equipment and report any maintenance concerns.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Experience performing MIG welding on structural steel.
- TIG welding experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and proper PPE use.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to inspect welds using visual inspections and measuring tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fabrication environment and handling steel materials.

This position is based in a structural steel fabrication facility. The role involves welding, grinding, and working with heavy steel materials in a production-focused environment. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and working around heat, sparks, noise, and manufacturing equipment while wearing required PPE.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greeley, CO.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $19.30 - $20.30/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
