Food Packaging Specialist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 15.16 / hour
• Part Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:30am to 12:30pm)

• Prepare and tray large quantities of hot and cold meals.
• Package prepared meals into individual lunch sacks.
• Organize and load packaged meals into coolers for delivery.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Work with a strong sense of urgency to ensure meals are ready before volunteers arrive for pickup and delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Assist with cleanup duties, including washing dishes and completing other sanitation tasks as needed.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work cooperatively with staff and volunteers to ensure meals are prepared and ready on time.

Food Packaging Specialist

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with food preparation, packaging, or large-volume meal production preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
• Dependable and able to work efficiently under time-sensitive deadlines.
• Willing to assist with cleaning, dishes, and sanitation duties.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude. Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
