Position Summary
Registered Nurse – Night Shift, Emergency Department, UCHealth UCHlth Greeley Hospital.
Location & DepartmentGreeley Hospital (CO), Emergency Department (GH ER)
Work ScheduleFull‑time, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks).
ShiftNights.
Compensation$35.29 – $54.71 per hour, based on experience. Night Shift Incentive Program: $1,600 quarterly ($6,400 annually).
Minimum Requirements- Graduate of an accredited or state board–approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with a current card in hand at start date.
- Provides top‑level practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice.
- Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
- Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment.
- Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
- Designated orientation program for experienced nurses new to the Emergency Department specialty.
- Supports orientation based on novice‑to‑expert theory and adult learning styles.
- Includes clinical educators to guide individualized specialty education and competency validation.
- Ensures familiarity with Emergency Department level of care up to level 1 trauma designation and BCEN certification standards.
