Licensed Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Schedule:

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; 36 hours scheduled with a minimum of 24 hours guaranteed per week.

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Nurse with expertise in Labor & Delivery. The nurse will provide comprehensive care to mothers and their newborns, demonstrating proficiency in various areas including triage, postpartum couplet care, circulating OR cases, and baby admissions. This role requires flexibility to float between facilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional nursing care in Labor & Delivery.
• Conduct triage and assist in OR cases as required.
• Offer postpartum couplet care for mothers and newborns.
• Perform baby admissions and assist in deliveries.
• Adhere to department guidelines regarding weekend, holiday, float, and call requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Valid nursing license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AFM from approved vendors.
• Driver's license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
