Travel Nurse - Rn - Cvor - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Lourdes Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, faith-informed care to patients in our Pasco hospital. In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and treatments, and develop individualized care plans. You will collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure safe, coordinated care while educating patients and families about conditions and discharge plans.

Wage scale: $42.14 - $78.11 per hour
$20,000 Commitment-Incentive Bonus

The registered nurse (RN) plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Surgical Services department. The RN ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with departmental standards of care. The RN demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the assigned unit and the organization.

They remain flexible to changing systems—are expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practices, and treat staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.

• 6 Operating Rooms
• 2 GI Suites
• 8 Hour Shifts
• Monday through Friday
• On-Call rotation including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, may be required based on departmental needs

• Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
• Maintaining sterile technique and monitoring the surgical environment for safety and compliance
• Anticipating the needs of the surgical team to support efficient case flow
• Communicating effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers and team members
• Documenting care accurately and in a timely manner
• Participating in process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, safety, and team performance

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Active Washington RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• At least two recent years of RN Operating Room experience required.
