Medical Surgical Floor (MS) registered nurses in the healthcare setting are responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and/or geriatric patients. This role involves assessing patient needs, formulating and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes to ensure optimal recovery and patient safety. The position requires the application of specialized nursing knowledge and skills to support patients through their hospitalization and discharge processes.

• Schedule:
  
  Nights shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid RN license in the state of practice or a current compact RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Bachelors degree in nursing and professional certification related to medical-surgical nursing are preferred.
• Additional Information:
  The role involves direct patient care activities within a hospital environment, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The nurse must adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective care. Responsibilities also include documentation of patient data, collaborating with the healthcare team, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
