Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED) for onsite, full-time evening shifts.
Responsibilities include: Providing expert patient care utilizing the nursing process, supporting multidisciplinary teams, prioritizing patient wellness, and modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. The RN will deliver care up to level 1 trauma, ensuring safety and quality at the point of care, with clinical education support for competency validation.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, RN licensure, at least 6 months of RN experience, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma-specific courses. Additional certifications like TNCC, ENPC, and Advanced Trauma Care are preferred.
Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, emergency nursing expertise, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, teamwork, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Key duties: Direct patient care in emergency settings, adherence to evidence-based care models, participation in ongoing education, and contributing to a safe, high-quality care environment.
