We are a 24/7 emergency hospital located in Greeley, CO, focusing on emergency and critical care in a new state-of-the-art facility. We pride ourselves on our culture, values, and mission. Experience & Skills Requirements

Thrive’s Medical Director, Veterinarians provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the highest standards of veterinary medical care within Thrive hospitals. This role combines hands-on clinical practice with medical leadership responsibilities, including mentorship of veterinarians, development of medical protocols, and collaboration with hospital leadership to support quality patient care and operational excellence. Requirements include:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License:
    • Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
    • Obtained prior to start date
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
  • Proven experience in emergency medicine
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills
