CompensationHourly: $23.71 - $25.13 plus monthly incentive compensation based on store performance.
Responsibilities- Support the store manager in achieving sales goals and creating a customer‑focused environment.
- Participate actively in the MIT training program and serve as a managerial team member during the 3–6 month preparation period.
- Drive sales by analyzing store performance, adjusting plans, and maintaining payroll hours to sustain profitability.
- Assess visual merchandising needs and implement promotional changes to maximize sales.
- Prepare staffing schedules based on business needs, traffic patterns, and store activity.
- Direct the use of sales‑driving programs such as the associate ordering system and community outreach.
- Make quality hiring decisions and nurture talent through onboarding, training, and performance coaching.
- Develop successors and talent pools for all store positions, providing actionable feedback and accountability.
- Maintain an operationally sound store through audits, inventory control, security, and cleanliness.
- Enforce maurices policies and procedures, including POS, visual, HR, and operational guidelines.
- Respond appropriately to policy violations and use HR resources to follow company guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED required; business or retail merchandising degree preferred.
- Supervisory experience in a customer focused environment required; fashion industry experience preferred.
- Proven record of setting and achieving goals and executing company direction.
- Experience in hiring, promoting, and motivating talent.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Professionalism, sound decision‑making, and the ability to lead by example.
- Commitment to relocate to a specific store or group of new and existing stores.
- Work varied hours and days as the business dictates.
- Reach, push, pull, stand, squat, and bend for up to 8 hours or longer as needed.
- Operate all store equipment, including computerized register systems.
- Move or handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
