Xfinity Field Sales Consultant

Overview

Responsible for the promotion and sale of Comcast products and services, including video, high‑speed Internet, voice and XFINITY Home, within an assigned territory.

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Comcast products and effectively promote and sell offerings to individual customers.
• Display thorough and recent competitive knowledge of features, benefits, pricing and campaigns.
• Communicate and develop rapport with customers, evaluating their existing and potential product needs to make recommendations.
• Increase customer understanding of Comcast products, pricing models and competitive advantages.
• Evaluate competitive offers and frame responses to highlight benefits of Comcast.
• Create and execute turf‑management plans independently, using experience‑based sales techniques.
• Show confidence in selling ability and maintain competent time‑management and organizational skills.
• Meet and exceed sales goals established by local market, and independently plan daily sales activities.
• Generate business through approved lead‑generation methods and implement effective sales closing techniques.
• Maintain a consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales environment.
• Demonstrate advanced understanding of video, high‑speed internet, voice and XFINITY Home, and possess effective communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills.
• Show strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases).
• Meet physical requirements of the job, including walking and traveling door‑to‑door for considerable distances in all types of weather.
• Obtain and maintain credentials and/or licenses necessary to sell and/or design alarm systems as required by law.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
• Work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Ability to walk and/or travel door‑to‑door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions, and to work nights, weekends, and overtime.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma / GED.
• Relevant Certifications (if applicable).

  Work Experience:
  
  2–5 years in a similar sales role.
