Collins Aerospace – Government Security Compliance (GSC) – Pueblo, CO – Onsite – U.S. Citizen required with active transferable DoD Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities- Serve as the Security Control Official (SCO): ensure compliance with security policies, manage emergency procedures, support internal investigations, and coordinate with external vendors.
- Lead Business Resilience and Crisis Management (BRCM) activities, completing Threat Vulnerability Assessments, Business Impact Analyses, Business Incident Response Plans, and facilitating tabletop drills.
- Monitor program operations for effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Establish, maintain, and enforce regulations for U.S. Government contract compliance.
- Assist in implementing security procedures consistent with company SOPs and government regulations.
- Provide daily in‑person security support and services to employees.
- Process, organize, and maintain accurate personnel records containing sensitive and personally identifiable information.
- Support Government Security Compliance deliverables including DD254s, PERSEC, visitor control, document control, and security plans.
- Interpret physical construction standards for restricted and secure areas.
- Complete DCSA FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum within six months of hire.
- University degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with minimum 3 years).
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance required prior to start.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience interpreting and implementing security requirements from DD‑254 contracts.
- Experience conducting investigations related to Insider Threat and Workplace Violence.
- Working knowledge of access control systems (ACS), camera surveillance (CSS), and intrusion detection (IDS).
- Experience with National Industrial Security System (NISS) and Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
- Experience with physical security tasks and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Preferred:
Insider Threat Program Senior Officer experience; COMSEC account management; knowledge of the Risk Management Framework; professional certifications and affiliations.
U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for a Secret clearance. An active transferable security clearance is required before the start date. The position requires DoD clearance of Secret.
