We are currently seeking Apprentice Electricians/Instrument Techs in the Greeley, CO, area. This is a full time position.
Duties/Responsibilities:Assists with install, repairs, and c ommissioning of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
Assists with install of cable tray, conduits, and pipes for electrical wires and cables.
Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
Replaces conduit and wiring as directed when needed.
Installs, repairs, and commissions of instruments including level, flow, temperature, vibrations, and pressure.
Bend and install tubing.
Cut, thread, and install piping.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Show up on time prepared for work.
Fill out and/or assist with job site hazard assessments.
Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion.
Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Computer knowledge for use of on-line work orders and time sheets.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Ability to understand and communicate in a proper manner on email, text, or phone.
Relay information and questions through the proper hierarchy chain.
Ability to adapt to last minute changes and redirect course of project completion accordingly.
Ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ongoing education, completion of a formal apprenticeship, or valid journeyman electrician’s license.
Physical Requirements:Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
Must be physically capable of all mentioned duties.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
