Fiber Installation Technician

Position:
Telecommunications Installer (Pueblo, CO)

Pay: $21–$24 per hour depending on qualifications.

• Install internet, TV, and phone service for business and residential customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues logically.
• Perform wire fishing and pulling, prepare cables, and polish connectors.
• Apply knowledge of telecommunications color code, SIP/PRI, and Hosted IP PBX.
• Handle all equipment safely and maintain company issued tools.
• Adhere to the Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy.
• Maintain a clean, neat appearance and a clean driving record.
• Pass random drug screenings and arrive on time to scheduled work sites.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or 1 year of equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of telecommunications experience; networking background a plus.

• Team player with strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Understanding of basic network routing protocols.
• Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and basic machinery.
• Accurate documentation and knowledge of Microsoft OS.
• Ability to travel outside the home market and to operate on‑call rotations.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to project needs.

• Raise objects up to 80lbs.
• Stand, bend, kneel, and crawl for extended periods.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Travel up to 50% of the time; pass a valid driver’s license check.
