Paint & Finishing Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Paint & Finishing Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing professional painting, surface preparation, finishing, and construction support activities on a variety of commercial projects, including hospitality, retail, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, and light construction environments.
The ideal candidate has experience delivering high-quality finishes, takes pride in craftsmanship, and works safely and efficiently in fast-paced construction environments.
Key Responsibilities Surface Preparation- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces through cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, masking, and priming.
- Repair drywall imperfections, minor wall damage, and other surface defects before painting.
- Protect surrounding areas, fixtures, equipment, and finished surfaces from paint, dust, and debris.
- Ensure all surfaces are properly prepared to achieve professional-quality results.
- Apply paints, primers, stains, sealers, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Produce consistent, high-quality finishes that meet company and project specifications.
- Match paint colors and finishes as required.
- Complete detailed finish work on trim, doors, cabinetry, architectural features, and specialty surfaces.
- Inspect completed work and correct deficiencies before project closeout.
- Assist with drywall repairs, finish carpentry, punch-list work, and other general construction activities as needed.
- Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades to support project completion.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain assigned tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial painting, industrial painting, finishing, or a related construction trade.
- Knowledge of proper surface preparation and paint application techniques.
- Experience using brushes, rollers, and spray application equipment.
- Basic drywall repair and patching experience.
- Ability to safely work from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, retail, or multifamily construction projects.
- Experience operating airless spray systems and specialty coating equipment.
- Familiarity with punch-list completion and light finish carpentry.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments and may involve varying weather conditions.
- Regular exposure to dust, paint fumes, construction noise, and active job sites.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting associated with construction work.
- Ability to travel and drive between project locations as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greeley, CO.
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
