Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Industrial Pipe fitters for projects located in the Greeley, CO area
. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $35-38/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Pipefitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Install welded piping systems in an industrial environment
- Read and interpret blueprints, piping drawings, specifications, and layouts
- Measure, lay out, cut, and fit pipe according to project requirements
- Fit pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, and related components in preparation for welding and installation
- Determine proper pipe lengths, angles, offsets, and fitting locations from drawings and field measurements
- Perform accurate pipe layout using appropriate pipe fitting tools and measuring equipment
- Assist with positioning, alignment, and installation of piping systems
- Verify fit-up, elevations, dimensions, and alignment prior to final installation
- Identify and communicate field conditions that may require adjustments to piping layouts
- Coordinate effectively with welders, supervisors, and other trades
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all site-specific and company safety requirements
- Consistently produce quality work while maintaining project productivity expectations
- Journeyman-level industrial pipe fitting experience
- Strong experience installing welded piping systems
- Ability to independently measure, cut, lay out, and fit industrial pipe
- Strong blueprint and piping-drawing reading skills
- Knowledge of pipe fittings, flanges, valves, offsets, and piping configurations
- Ability to accurately calculate and lay out piping runs
- Experience working in industrial construction, manufacturing, processing, mechanical, or similar environments
