Hydrovac Team Positions
Lone Tree Services is hiring the following positions for our Hydrovac teams:
- Swampers – work with the hydrovac driver as spotter, operate the pressure hose, and assist in maintenance of equipment.
- Operator Drivers – looking for a Hydrovac operator;
Class A CDL preferred with tanker endorsement. Must have knowledge of digging, pot holing, cleaning equipment, water pressure, loading, offloading, daily maintenance, operation of equipment and be willing to train on new SOPs. - Truck Drivers – Hydrovac truck driver with tanker endorsement, basic Hydrovac truck knowledge; loading and offloading experience a plus. Willing to train on operation of equipment and SOPs.
- Perform oil field‑related Hydrovac duties.
- Follow and understand essential job SOPs.
- Be able to lift 50 to 70 pounds regularly throughout a workday.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Lead and work as a member of a Hydrovac team.
- Clean cattle guards, mats, tanks, and/or culverts as directed.
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
- Use safe driving techniques when operating vehicles or equipment.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Perform duties in extreme weather conditions.
- Wear personal protective equipment at all times while on location.
- Review the Job Safety Analysis for each location or jobsite.

Hydro Vac Driver 1:
Class B CDL with air brake endorsement, less than two-year experience.
Hydro Vac Driver 2:
Class B CDL or higher, more than two years experience.
Hydro Vac Driver 3:
Class A CDL or higher, at least two years experience.
Hydro Vac Driver 4:
Class A CDL with endorsements, more than two years experience, no violations for a calendar year, ability to train and mentor, strong leadership skills, accurate reporting to management.
- Be able to lift 50 to 70 pounds regularly throughout a workday.
- Required to drive in extreme weather conditions such as heavy snow, snow‑packed roads, icy roads, strong winds, and other hazardous conditions.
- Required to enter and exit trucks throughout the day; slips, trips, and falls are common; must use the three‑point contact system.
- Must use different types of hand and power tools, and inspect them as intended.
- Hazards from other equipment or people on location.
- Site‑specific hazards on location.
- Employees should report all hazards on their JSA’s so management can mitigate risk.
$24–$34 per hour.
