CDL Class A Driver
Location: Based out of Greeley, CO
Pay Range: Up to $37.00/hour based on experience
Position SummaryWe are seeking motivated and safety-conscious Class A CDL Drivers to join our team. This position is responsible for transporting, delivering, unloading and retrieving decking mats, equipment, and materials for oilfield, construction, and industrial projects throughout the United States. Drivers play a critical role in ensuring customers receive equipment safely, on time, and in excellent condition. This position requires extensive travel, strong load securement knowledge, and the ability to assist with field operations when deliveries are complete.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Transport decking mats, equipment, and related materials to and from customer locations across the United States.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload decking mats and heavy equipment in accordance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Verify load accuracy and ensure all cargo is properly secured before transport.
- Operate trucks and trailers safely in a variety of road, weather, and jobsite conditions.
- Communicate delivery schedules, route updates, equipment needs, and mechanical concerns with supervisors and dispatch personnel.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and required transportation records.
- Assist with loading and unloading decking mats, equipment such as telehandlers, loaders, manlifts, and other jobsite equipment.
- Willing to be cross trained in Hydrovac operations when there's no decking work
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with load securement and heavy-haul transportation.
- Strong understanding of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Basic computer and smartphone skills for timekeeping, communication, and electronic documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in oilfield, construction, or industrial service environments.
- Experience operating loaders, telehandlers, forklifts, or similar heavy equipment.
- Hydrovac or related field operations experience.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment fit-for-duty evaluation.
- Frequent overnight travel throughout the United States.
