Corporate First Officer - Challenger 3500

JBS USA is seeking a motivated and professional First Officer to support safe, efficient, discreet, and professional air transportation for company executives and other authorized passengers. This position supports primarily domestic operations, with opportunities to participate in international missions, and requires a pilot who demonstrates sound judgment, strong operational discipline, adaptability, and a service-oriented approach.
Position SummaryThe Corporate First Officer serves as Second in Command of company aircraft and reports to the Director of Aviation. The First Officer supports the Pilot in Command in the safe conduct of assigned flights, crew coordination, regulatory compliance, passenger service, and the protection of company personnel, information, and assets. The successful candidate will contribute positively to a collaborative flight department, remain adaptable in a dynamic operating environment, and demonstrate the initiative and professionalism necessary for continued growth and increasing responsibility.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Serve as Second in Command on assigned domestic and international flights in accordance with applicable regulations, aircraft limitations, company manuals, standard operating procedures, and sound aviation judgment.
- Support the Pilot in Command in evaluating weather, aircraft status, airports, routing, fuel, crew readiness, and operational risk, and communicate concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with flight planning and mission preparation, including route analysis, fuel planning, airport suitability, weather review, handling arrangements, and contingency planning.
- Participate actively in preflight briefings, postflight debriefings, and crew coordination using established company procedures and crew resource management principles.
- Perform assigned cockpit duties with discipline and precision, maintain effective communication and mutual cross-checking, and contribute to a professional cockpit environment.
- Coordinate with the Pilot in Command, maintenance personnel, schedulers, dispatch and trip-support providers, fixed-base operators, and other internal and external partners.
- Assist in confirming aircraft readiness, required documentation, navigation data and charts, fuel planning, onboard supplies, catering, and passenger-specific requirements before departure.
- Maintain a high standard of passenger service, confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism throughout all phases of company travel.
- Complete required flight, safety, maintenance, expense, and operational records accurately and promptly.
- Participate in recurrent training, safety programs, emergency response preparation, and departmental standardization activities.
- Support the development and improvement of flight-department procedures, manuals, safety practices, training, and service standards.
- Perform assigned administrative or collateral duties that support the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the flight department.
- Maintain availability for a variable schedule that includes early departures, late arrivals, weekends, holidays, overnight trips, and domestic or international travel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with airplane multiengine land and instrument ratings.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum 1,200 hours total flight time.
- Demonstrated recent flight experience in multiengine airplanes.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the training, qualification, and proficiency required to serve as Second in Command in the Challenger 3500.
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restriction.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to reside within approximately one hour of the flight department hangar in Greeley, Colorado.
- Ability to meet company requirements for employment, background screening, training, travel, and aircraft insurance.
- Challenger 300/350/3500 type rating or previous operating experience.
