Railcar Loaders / Transload Operators safely load and unload railcars while ensuring compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards. This role includes operating transloading equipment, handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials, performing inspections, completing documentation, and supporting rail operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Safely load and unload railcars and transfer products
- Operate transloading equipment, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and mobile equipment
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and minor equipment repairs
- Complete operational logs and safety documentation
- Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety procedures
- Report safety concerns and equipment issues promptly
- Support switching crews and other site operations as required
- Valid Driver's License required, CDL is a NICE to have.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong teamwork skills
- Transloading experience is a plus.
- Experience with skid-steers.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working at heights
- Industrial or hazardous materials experience considered an asset
- Must meet customer and regulatory safety requirements, including background screening
- Hours for this position are 7AM to 4PM with rotating weekends.
