Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be an integral part of the Finance department supporting various accounting initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

** Pay Range:
** up to $55 per hour depending on experience.

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform period-end closing duties ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements

+ Prepare and analyze financial reports and variance analysis to support decision-making

+ Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently

+ Provide general accounting support for finance initiatives and projects as assigned

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

+ At least 3 years of experience managing General Ledger and accounting processes

+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel

+

Experience with fixed asset software (FAS) and financial systems such as BAAN, SAP, or Epicor

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset
