Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Position in Walworth County

We are working a newly created Staff Accountant position for a growing manufacturing company in Walworth County. This role will have a direct line to the Corporate Controller and other upper level leadership. A huge perk is that this position can take advantage of a hybrid schedule!

• Prepares and enter journal entries to the general ledger.
• Assist with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
• Assist with other accounting functions such as taxes, periodic and yearly financial reports.
• Provide detailed analyses and explanations of transactions
• Assists with external audits of company's accounts.
• Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports.

• At least an Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Problem-solving/process improvement mindset
• Attention to detail and organization skills
