Job Title: Accountant

Job Type: Direct Hire, exempt

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158

Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 annually

• Lead monthly financial close for assigned manufacturing plants, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Record and review inventory transactions, analyze variances, and collaborate with plant teams to identify trends
• Process weekly payroll using Paychex for designated plant locations
• Manage accounts payable, including invoice receipt, three-way match, approval routing, and payment processing
• Enter approved invoices into the ERP system (IQMS) and conduct weekly check runs
• Support year-end close and assist with external audits
• Contribute to general accounting tasks such as cash application, customer pricing updates, and account reconciliations
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and team on ad hoc projects and initiatives

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 0–4+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with ERP systems and general ledger management preferred
• Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., Paychex, ADP) a plus
• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and report formatting
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• Manufacturing and cost accounting experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Team-oriented and thrives in a small office environment
