Job Title: Accountant
Job Type: Direct Hire, exempt
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158
Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 annually

Job Description- Lead monthly financial close for assigned manufacturing plants, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Record and review inventory transactions, analyze variances, and collaborate with plant teams to identify trends
- Process weekly payroll using Paychex for designated plant locations
- Manage accounts payable, including invoice receipt, three-way match, approval routing, and payment processing
- Enter approved invoices into the ERP system (IQMS) and conduct weekly check runs
- Support year-end close and assist with external audits
- Contribute to general accounting tasks such as cash application, customer pricing updates, and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and team on ad hoc projects and initiatives
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 0–4+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with ERP systems and general ledger management preferred
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., Paychex, ADP) a plus
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and report formatting
- Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Manufacturing and cost accounting experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Team-oriented and thrives in a small office environment
