The Associate Accountant is involved in all aspects of the day-to-day accounting functions (A/R, A/P and general ledger) of the organization; and will be actively involved in the month end closing process by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and budget to actual comparisons. In addition, the Associate Accountant will generate and analyze financial reports to be used by organization managers and serve as a resource for their questions.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND
SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Associate degree in accounting or business required.
- 2 to 3 years of accounting related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Abila MIP accounting software or other accounting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong organizational skills.
- MS Office, with strong Excel skills.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Keeps sensitive information confidential.
