Accounting Associate; CAAS - Healthcare Industry

CLA is currently seeking an Associate to join our CAAS (Healthcare Industry) team based out of one of the following offices:
Minneapolis, MN;
Appleton, WI;
Milwaukee, WI; or St. Louis, MO.

• Client Service:
  Gain ability to handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions:
  Coordinate & process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Month End Processing:
  Complete financial statements; coordinate and complete account reconciliations (bank & credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals); complete complex account reconciliations that have been previously set up and supported by senior staff.
• Quarterly/Annual Processing:
  Complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other items as requested by clients.

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Compensation for this position in Minneapolis ranges from $53,700 to $93,000. Compensation is competitive and considers geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge.
