Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading organization in the Green Bay area, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing internal reports and journal entries.
• Perform in-depth variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies.
• Prepare reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review and post journal entries during period-end close procedures.
• Assess and improve control procedures to enhance financial accuracy and compliance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Four to six years of accounting or auditing experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle, is preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
