Payroll Administrator

Marvin is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll for hourly and salaried employees. In this role, you'll manage end-to-end payroll processing, time and attendance data, and employee earnings and deductions. You'll partner closely with HR and Finance, prepare reconciliations and reports, and maintain compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried manufacturing employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain employee data, earnings, deductions, and tax settings in the payroll/HRIS system.
• Verify and reconcile time and attendance data across multiple shifts and locations.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for Finance, HR, and management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage, hour, and payroll tax regulations.
• Support benefits and deduction setup, audits, and year-end processing (W-2, 1095, etc.).
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with HR and plant leadership on new hires, terminations, and pay changes.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate payroll documentation.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and controls.
